In application of the 1985 "Lang Law", the SACD (like all authors rights management societies) has developed a cultural action policy to help authors from all repertoires. Examples of such actions developed by SACD, and other partner associations, include promoting contemporary writings in France and internationally, as well as assisting authors with their collective or individual projects.
The SACD implements its cultural action policy either directly via its own services, or by calling on the Beaumarchais Foundation and Entr’Actes who work with authors on a daily basis. Once again, the underlying idea is to promote authors' works and help them with their projects. Please feel free to contact the SACD, Beaumarchais or Entr’Actes with your projects.
Each year, a certain number of prizes are awarded to authors and artists in recognition of their contribution to drama writing. The Henri Jeanson, Maurice Yvain, Suzanne Banchietti and SACD prizes recognize talent in all repertoires.
